No. The Perfect Caregiver For Me is a screening, matching, and placement service. We source and introduce candidates — the client makes the final hiring decision and pays the caregiver directly. We are not the caregiver's legal employer.
If the caregiver leaves or isn't a reasonable fit within the first 7 days, we make a good-faith effort to provide one replacement candidate at no additional charge — provided the caregiver was paid as agreed and home expectations were clearly communicated.
Yes, a placement fee applies. Contact us directly — by phone, text, or email — and we'll walk you through the details based on your specific placement needs. The placement fee is separate from the caregiver's compensation, which you negotiate and pay directly to the caregiver.
Yes. Background checks are part of our screening process. However, licensed care homes in Texas are independently required to run their own checks before a caregiver begins work — our check is a screening step, not a substitute for your compliance obligation.
